MEET OUR TEAM

Ewa Iwińska – co-founder of the "Avocado" day care center. Graduated from the University of Warsaw with a degree in Psychology and Polish philology. She gained professional experience in the Nobody's Children Foundation (the ‘Good Parent – Good Start’ programme), in the Comenius Foundation for Child Development (coordinator of the project ‘Child as Citizen’), at the Polish Centre for International Aid (initiator and co-coordinator of the project ‘Intercultural Kids Club’). She graduated from the Center of Counseling and Crisis Intervention at the Institute of Health Psychology as well as School of Psychological Training and Workshop INTRA. She is a certified teacher at the day care center and children's club. She is also a certified animator of playgroups. Finally, she is a mother to 2 1/2 year-old Maciek.

Monika Pawińska – co-founder of the "Avocado" day care center. Graduated from the University of Warsaw with a degree in Polish philology with specialization in teaching Polish. She also completed a course at the “Polonicum” Centre at the University of Warsaw in the field of Teaching Polish as Foreign Language. She gained experience in the intercultural environment teaching foreigners (children, adolescents and adults) the Polish language at language schools: T&T Teaching and Translating as well as The Centre for English Studies in Warsaw. She is a certified teacher at the day care center and children's club. She is also a certified animator of playgroups. She is also the mother of 2-year-old Pola and 4-year-old Ignacy.
